In depth

Verdict

Knox Overstreet wasn't beaten far at Doncaster on Saturday and should be a factor in this lesser contest if fully recovered. But this looks an excellent opportunity for SMALIB MONTERG to get off the mark on the Flat after three solid runs in maidens. He'll love the ground and justified favouritism in a competitive handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot last month. Potentiale and Between The Lines have place prospects but Corn Maiden stopped quickly here last time and still has to prove her stamina over the trip.
