We are going to take a chance here with Gone 'n' Dunnett, with his biggest dangers reckoned to be Seven No Trumps, Tag Team, Musical Fair, Prime Recreation and One Way Ticket. The selection has won from just a pound higher mark - that was in July at Brighton - so holds a chance on that basis, but he is also fit from the Flat and the stable has been among the winners of late. Overall, though, it is a competitive race with Seven No Trumps holding a chance if getting back to the form that saw him win at Warwick two runs ago, a race in which he beat One Way Ticket, who is now just one pound better off for two-and-a-half lengths, but the latter might appreciate the better going today. Tag Team could be interesting from his current mark on Turf at this trip, while Roxanne Mill has won over course and distance from a six-pound higher mark, but that was in July 2002 and he has only won once since. Prime Recreation, however, could go well as this course and distance winner from a five-pound lower mark is capable of going well from his current mark and Musical Fair can also be given a shout as he is just a pound above the mark from which he won in May of last year. Finally, Petardia's Magic has rarely been tried at five furlongs but has won over the distance so might yet be capable of springing a surprise. Overall, though, we will side with Gone 'n' Dunnett.
