The vote here goes to Desert Omen, with the Clive Brittain pair, three nicely-bred newcomers and Sharaby others to consider. Desert Omen showed plenty of promise when third on his Lingfield debut, getting the hang of things late on after running green. He should go well, while with Clive Brittain's horses running well, Excusez Moi, who will be fit from his runs at Nad Al Sheba and has shown promise, has also to be considered, although he also runs the nicely-bred debutant Wolf Pack. Sharaby stepped up on previous efforts to finish third at Newmarket last time, but it is hard to quantify the form of that race, while James Fanshawe's Infatuate, Geoff Wragg's Altesse, and David Loder's Sweet Emily, are all ones to monitor in the betting. This could well force you to reassess your strategy but, without that, we are happy to stick with Desert Omen, particularly as his stable has hit form early in the season.
