Few of these boast solid profiles but it may be worth taking a chance with AL AZY who has run well here in the past. Clipperdown and Dobravany can be rated highly amongst the dangers. Al Azy is partnered by a jockey who has only one winner to her name but she went close in a similar race at Salisbury at the weekend and can hold her own in this company. The colt's course victory came over fourteen furlongs but he should have sufficient speed for this contest and may enjoy the return to racing at this seaside venue. Clipperdown is a multiple winner but never over a trip as far as this and it's also been a while since he had his head in front. However, his recent efforts on the polytrack have been satisfactory and he has claims. Dobravany hasn't been out since running poorly over hurdles but he had run well on his most recent start on the level and could get involved as could Credential but the remainder, although not ruled out, need to step up on what they've achieved to date. The nominal pick is Al Azy.
