EXTREMELY SO may be worth chancing at a bigger price than likely leading fancies Jo'burg and Cwm Rhondda. The bottom weight never got competitive in a fair handicap at Doncaster confined to her own sex but ran well enough over course and distance on her penultimate start to believe that she can go close. She's able to race from the same mark and may be able to break her duck in an open race. Jo'burg has plenty of ability but is far from straightforward as he has shown on his last two starts. His new yard have done well with him and he's certainly good enough to win this but he needs things to drop right and is usually worth taking on given his prominence in the market. Cwm Rhondda drops back in trip having returned a beaten favourite over a mile and a half last time; she had recorded back to back successes over course and distance prior to that and remains a force to be reckoned with. She had Iceman George back in second on the second of those victories and has work to do at the weights but it's doubtful whether Iceman George can repeat his Newbury success. Locum is not without claims and Faith And Reason needs the obligatory market check but a chance is taken with Extremely So.
