Montmartre turns out again quickly after her debut at Headquarters on Saturday. A rangy filly, she took a while to grasp what was required, but she did stay on nicely in the final furlong, to be never near than at the line. This half-sister to 8-furlong winner Broughton's Pride, will know more this time and will certainly appreciate the step up in trip. Generous Share achieved little on her debut, but is sure to have improved for the experience, while Masonic Dream, a half-sister to stayer Perestroika, is from a stable hopelssly out of sorts at present. Literacy may provide the biggest threat. From the same family as the useful Duck Row (the winner of a Listed event in Ireland yeasterday), she will have no problem with the trip and should give a good account in fully tuned up.
