One of the better races on the card this and we take Boundless Prospect to defy topweight and see off Habshan, Kabeer and Cross The Line. The selection is still 2lb higher than the mark from which he last won, which came over course and distance last September. The handicapper's reassessment has put paid to any further success, but Gay Kelleway's gelding put up his best effort since that victory at Haydock last time, and with the ground coming right for him he can produce a lifetime best to score. There should be little to choose between Habshan and Kabeer on their Lingfield running from March. On that occasion Chris Wall¿s six-year-old gave 6lb and a half length beating to Habshan, but given that he is now 1lb worse off it should be closer still. Cross The Line won a fast ground York handicap last August, but a string of consistent efforts since has seen him rise 8lb and winning may again prove just too tough, so we take Boundless Prospect to land the prize.
