In depth

Verdict

A wide open race rounds off the card and Our Tees Component, Play It Again and Celtic Jem are three we like with the vote going to Our Tees Compenent. The selection is a nicely-bred filly and she will not have to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut here. The market should be noted for clues, but if if the vibes from the ring are positive then she should take plenty of beating. The booking of AP McCoy catches the eye for another newcomer Play it Again and once again if the market offers any encouragement then it could pay to take the hint. Celtic Jem looks the best of those with the racecourse experience, and although he hasn't looked like winning on his two racecourse appearances to date, he has shown definite signs of ability. Ballymena is another who has shown a modicum of ability, but in a weak race we are happy to side with a newcomer, and we will give the vote to Keith Reveley's Our Tees Component.
