Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer SYKES needed a much stronger test of stamina than he received at Newton Abbot earlier this month and today's longer trip can see him off the mark. The Winking Prawn was beaten a long way when third over the course and distance last time while the once promising Weapon Of War hasn't run for over two years. Burgess Dream was the very easy winner of a point at Ballyarthur in April though it wasn't much of a race so Moral Hazard and Copperfacejack, both runners-up between the flags, are likely to have better chances.
