Verdict
The temptation to offer No No Cardinal another chance after a dreadful performance last time has passed and CAPISCI, a winner or placed in seven of his last eight makes far more appeal. He was way clear of the aforementioned last time and only a last-fence blunder finally put paid to his chance when second to Marky Bob at Newton Abbot. He can go one better now at the main expense of Hopeand, a chaser with some fair form to his name but one who has gone right off the boil this year. He's now down to his last winning mark and would be dangerous if recapturing something like his best. Red Whisper got the job done quite nicely at Towcester in May but has been pulled up and tailed off on two subsequent starts which makes him tough to support.
