Donald McCain has expertly identified a host of small-field contests for DEGOOCH in his career to date and has worked the oracle one again. He's yet to run over hurdles or fences in a field of more than eight and last time jumped and travelled well enough to land a three-runner affair on chasing debut at Bangor. He should be too good for Explained whose latest tailed-off effort at Ffos Las was in stark comparison to his previous Market Rasen chasing debut success although that race did rather fall apart. He's best watched. Moss Street is only a year younger than the selection but receives a massive 22lb under race conditions. He's yet to jump a fence in public but his yard have a splendid record here and he's a big threat, having landed an ordinary maiden hurdle in Ireland last time.
