No surprise if AMERICAN LEGEND turns out to be a leading player for the O'Neill team this summer as he showed plenty of promise on his fencing debut when staying on at one pace to claim third spot over 3m at Uttoxeter. This dual winner over hurdles can do nothing but improve over fences and looks a solid selection off a feasible mark. Danandy is inconsistent but useful on a going day whereas Phone Home is up against it off topweight. Got Attitude may be 11 but he found plenty of improvement last time when scoring easily here over 2m4f and will be a danger if able to repeat that level over the extra three furlongs despite a harsh-looking 13lb rise.
