Ballincurrig bolted up in a Southwell bumper in April and has already won between the flags. But this looks a fairly hot maiden hurdle with both Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls having decent prospects in the line-up. The former runs Heronry, who justified shorts odds on his racecourse debut in a Fontwell bumper in June, but we prefer WILTON MILAN. A wide-margin winner of a point-to-point at Monksgrange in March, he cost new connections a pretty penny after that and they'll want to start recouping his purchase price sooner rather than later. Majorica King has been placed in five of his six starts over hurdles but lacks a bit of scope now while Cayman Islands and bumper winners Ron and Sertao are best watched at present.
