Verdict

BOBS LAW looked a tremendous prospect when winning a Chepstow hunter chase in April but was subsequently disqualified after a banned substance was found in his system. Now trained by Keith Goldsworthy, he looks well worth an interest on his hurdling debut with AP McCoy's booking a positive sign. The danger may be another former pointer, Shammy Buskins, who has won four times over fences and was winning for the first time over timber over C&D eight days ago. American Spin has only found one too good in both starts but looks held by Shammy Buskins on a line through Newton Abbot winner Saved By John, while Where's My Slave was beaten in a claimer here on her first UK start.
