Verdict

Furrows is upped in grade under a penalty after beating three rivals at Southwell. Fantasy King is 6lb higher than when getting off the mark over fences at Clonmel but MISS TENACIOUS could be interesting on a rare run outside the west country. Ron Hodges' mare had Surf And Turf behind last time at Stratford and a decent amateur's 7lb claim in her favour in this. She makes more appeal than the returning Fair Dilemma. King Alfonso may be better handicapped than fellow novice Marju's Quest but both are likely to need more time.
