Verdict

Bajan Sunshine gets the vote over Sirnando, Catherine's Run and True Dove. The bumper that rounds off proceedings features no less than four last-time out winners, with preference just for Jonjo O'Neill's runner Bajan Sunshine. The son of Presenting created a favourable impression when opening his account at the first time of asking at Newton Abbot last month, and as this track will suit, he is taken to follow up under conditions that suit. Sirnando gained a narrow and unexpected debut victory at Stratford three weeks ago, and it remains to be seen whether he can improve further, while Catherine's Run was the only newcomer in the line-up when beating a small field over the course-and-distance in July. She probably did not beat much and is passed over. True Dove has a bit more experience, and opened her account at the third time of asking at Newton Abbot in July. She should give another good account, but we return to the progressive Bajan Sunshine as the answer.
