Verdict

Ridge Hill was sold by Godolphin in March having failed to make the track but any strong support for the brother to smart stayer Dartmouth could prove significant. Side Stepper is another Flat-bred newcomer to note while Tribal Glory is a likely improver having been sent off favourite here on his debut under Rules and finding one too good. But CAPTAIN’S PICK has switched yards since going close in a bumper at Kilbeggan in June and may prove the one to side with given the winner has subsequently scored again on the Flat in Ireland.
