Theatrebar broke a blood vessel last time at Uttoxeter but looks too high in the weights now, as does Forever Field. Mr Mcguiness and Tempestatefloresco finished second and third at Uttoxeter and that was a welcome return to form from Rosemary Gasson’s charge, who usually runs well here. Ocean Jive has been threatening to win a race like this since returning from injury but will have stamina to prove. Comanche Chieftain has been progressing well over fences so it’s a surprise to see him back over hurdles but Melody Of Scotland is respected, though is another trying a new trip. PSYCHEDELIC ROCK should be approaching peak fitness and holds his own in better company than this – Ian Williams’ dual course winner gets the nod.
