Verdict
Upswing never looked like winning when beaten 29 lengths over course and distance last month. He's yet to convince over fences and today's going will be plenty quick enough again. Call Me Vic has more to do than when beating small fields at Stratford and Southwell in the summer and SKYLANDER is preferred. He was beaten off his new mark at Uttoxeter last week but the winner of that race could turn out to be useful and David Pipe's charge may also have more to offer. Doctor Phoenix has won a point-to-point but, like Relentless Dreamer and St Johns Point, has an absence to overcome and Bold Conquest appears to have had limitations exposed.
