      Verdict

Nothing makes strong appeal but RARE CLOUDS seems to have benefitted from wind surgery, comfortably landing a Southwell handicap under today's useful amateur before finishing a more than respectable third to Presenting Pete in what looked a decent contest at the Nottinghamshire venue. He seems best going left-handed and two and a half miles on good ground suits. Voodoo Doll is becoming increasingly difficult to catch right but is dropping down the handicap as a consequence and would have to be well respected if everything falls into place here. Justified can usually can be relied upon to run his race and Come Dancing is interesting in receipt of plenty of weight all round on this step-up in trip. Kuraka and Inn The Bull are also noted.
