In depth

Verdict

Oscar Montel's profile is rather in-and-out and Thunderstruck's last couple of runs have not built on earlier promise. Both will be in the mix if bringing their best form to the table but DAZZLING GLORY is preferred. The Skelton inmate stayed on steadily to land third spot behind the much-improved The Vollan at Southwell last time, which will hopefully have rebuilt some confidence after her fall on chasing debut. She's down to a feasible mark of 112 and can progress from that latest improved effort. D'jango is an obvious threat to all as he seeks a course and distance hat-trick in just over a month but has gone up 12lb for those two victories. Game Socks adds further spice to an interesting little heat, having shown much better form on his second chase start when a close second here earlier this month.
