Verdict

A race no easier for a lack of numbers so BOB 'N' YOU is nominated with a degree of caution. Ian Williams' gelding ran a fair third in an Aintree hurdles event having sensibly elected to miss the Cheltenham Festival. The trip should represent no issue whatsoever. Ballydub was a disappointing favourite at Bangor on reappearance. He has had more chances to get off the mark than most which probably presents more questions rather than answers. The Giant Bolster hails from an unfashionable yard but he excelled himself when sixth to Peddlers Cross at Cheltenham and would have gone closer at Aintree next time out had he not compromise his chance with a blunder three out. Gordon Elliott's record when teaming up with AP McCoy speaks for itself so Slash And Burn is respected. Indian Pipe Dream seems exactly that.
