You wouldn't want to set your watch by any of these but GILDED YOUTH could strike from Festive Chimes and Letham Island. The selection disappointed at Hereford last time in what was a stronger race than this one but he had shown a fair level of form at Southwell prior to that. It may be best ignoring his latest effort and taking Gilded Youth to bounce back although this step up in trip does raise some questions. Festive Chimes hasn't been at her best for some time but she's handicapped accordingly and has posted a couple of fair efforts at Fakenham this season. She's proved that she can be competitive and could get involved. Letham Island has finished in the money on five of her twelve starts but comes here on the back of a modest display. She's better than that on a going day and connections have opted for a change of headgear. Sarrococca was well backed last time so may be worth a quick check but stronger claims are held by Gilded Youth.
