Verdict
MAGIC DANCER has been a good servant to connections and ended last season with a victory at Ludlow. He is 4lb higher than when landing this 12 months ago but obviously goes well fresh and should again beat runner-up Not Available, despite less favourable terms. Only Money returned from a lay-off to win at Plumpton last month and Elios D'Or came good over course and distance less than four weeks ago. Sainte Doctor was making his chasing bow when well beaten at Fontwell while Yggdrasil and Doukarov are making their seasonal reappearance and may need to drop a few pounds. Courtland has been lightly raced but hasn’t run since July last year.
