Verdict

Prolific winning hurdler In The Rough was beaten 20 lengths on his chasing bow but can only improve on that. However, Jonjo O'Neill also runs impressive course and distance winner American Legend and he looks the stable pick. Best Boy Barney would have claims on his form in the spring but returns off a higher mark. BUACHAILL ALAINN usually runs his race and remains well treated on past form. He's another who has won here in the past and, with recent rain in his favour, looks the one to beat today as the handicapper may have got hold of Greenlaw and neither Ackertac nor Mr Moss look the force of old.
