RAPID RETURN took advantage of a dropping handicap mark when successful over course and distance last month and an 8lb higher mark may not prevent the Richard Phillips-trained gelding from following up so he gets the vote ahead of Nawamees and Honour's Dream. Tom George's gelding disappointed at Uttoxeter last week but has solid claims on earlier form so he cannot be discounted. Chilbury Hill has been running consistently well of late and should again be thereabouts but he may once more have to settle for minor honours. Martin Keighley's Mr Newton was going well before unseating his rider three out at Newton Abbot last week and he makes more appeal than David Pipe's Bathwick Man, who was well held when last seen. Nawamees comes here fit from the flat for David Evans and has to be of interest on his return to hurdles but it is Rapid Return that is taken to follow up his recent success here.
