Verdict

Chesapeake should put in a good run and comes from interesting pedigree, Micks Prospect has been inconsistent in points of late so our vote goes to RITH BOB who acquitted herself very respectably at Southwell earlier this month. The pick could have won last time but for being hampered in the closing stages of the race. With a bit more luck here and by showing the sort of form which has produced a 100% record in points then she could be in with a good chance here. Chesapeake makes an appearance for Jonjo O'Neill and a reasonable effort at Uttoxeter where he was runner up last month could signal he is progressing and if there is more to come then this gelding sired by Sadler's Wells may challenge here. Micks Prospect has had patchy form in points recently but the yard is in good form and making his seasonal bow is not ruled out on this occasion. We prefer the attentions of RITH BOB to build on her last try and get the victory.
