Square Mile gets the vote here, with Major Catch and Jim Bobs Girl rated as the main dangers. Square Mile was very disappointing at Uttoxeter last time and, if whatever was ailing him that day is now a thing of the past, then he has a leading chance based on the best of his hurdling form, although he still has to prove it over fences. Keenan's Future would hold solid claims based on his best hurdling efforts but he has looked a bit wayward over fences so far and even ran out last time. Major Catch has shown enough to be considered for a place, while Jim Bobs Girl improved to run well at Bangor last time and, given a modicum of further improvement, could get amongst the money again. Finally, Gemini Storm improved to run well at Towcester last time and could get placed but Liberman is a light of former days and is passed over for this reason. All in all, modest fare with Square Mile, who will hardly get a better chance to win a race, given as the selection.
