In depth
Verdict
A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Tres Bien, Lamanver Homerun and Satchelman and the vote is given to Tres Bien. The selection was a fair second on his debut behind Cheer Us On, is sure to have learnt from the experience and given nominal improvement he will be very hard to beat. Lamanver Homerun rates the main danger as he hails from a yard that does well in these events and this Relief Pitcher filly out of a lightly-raced mare will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Satchelman is a Presenting gelding, half-brother to several winners including useful bumper and chase winner Dun Belle and is another to note in the market. Of the remainder Dennis The Legend is a winning pointer and may be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time and with this in mind for the winner we return to Tres Bien who looks sure to improve.
