Verdict

SOLDAT FORTE gave the impression he can win one of these events when fourth at Stratford on his debut under Rules despite an early stumble. He’ll know more today though Brian Hughes has switched allegiance to the newcomer Glen Cannel. The latter is out of a bumper winner and cost 65,000 euros while Genovese is a half-brother a bumper winner and is preferred to Dreams Of Fortune and Bensini. Sabaarelli is related to winners on the Flat and makes more appeal than stablemate Bollywollywotsit.
