Verdict
The progressive Clear The Runway has won six of his last eight starts over hurdles and fences but hasn’t raced since May while Global Citizen returns to action raised 7lb for scoring in testing ground at Cheltenham back in March. Last year’s winner Leapaway won here again in May but unseated behind third-placed BATHIVA at Newton Abbot last month. The latter wasn’t at his best on that occasion but gets another chance in this having earlier beaten Elios D'Or over track and trip.
