In depth

Verdict

Casterly Rock has ability but was disappointing in a maiden at Fontwell when last seen. Oskar Denarius has won three of his last four but a 14lb rise for scoring at Southwell looks harsh. Three of these have won around here in the past but Purple 'n Gold, though quite nicely treated, usually needs a run. Sweeping Rock also has an absence to overcome but ALCOCK AND BROWN had a run at Huntingdon in March and was in touch until lack of condition told. He’ll strip fitter today and Bridget Andrews’ claim is a plus. The Gipper and Navajo War Dance are also interesting off their current marks.
