Makena's good run of form came to a disappointing end at Fontwell and she cannot, now, be supported with confidence although a relatively quick reappearance suggests that she is fit and well and that nothing serious has come to light. Edgefour has been running well without winning and has claims but it may pay to concentrate on Bosamcliff, Gan on and JE NE SAIS PLUS. David Evans has an excellent record when using Tony McCoy but she does have something to prove at this trip so the vote is given to Je Ne Sais Plus. Tom George has only sent out a handful of runners over the past two months so it's hard to gauge the stable's form but the mare has won on her first run back before and was on an upward curve when last seen. Gan On disappointed when last seen but can be forgiven that run and she represents a yard that has been amongst the winners and has also scored after a break.
