WILLIAM'S WISHES can open his account by getting the better of Wor Rom and Australia Day. The last named has developed into a smart front runner on the level and he has shown plenty of ability in five starts over hurdles. He does have something to find at the weights with the selection though and there's always a worry that his tendency to pull could weaken his finishing effort. William's Wishes is rated 5lbs higher despite having had just the two runs in the spring. He will be suited by a longer trip in time so there has to be a concern that he could become outpaced but he's expected to progress. Wor Rom wasn't fluent on his debut over hurdles having won a bumper at the second attempt but he may have learnt from that and fare better here whilst Danimix merits close attention. He's shown ability in bumpers but this winning pointer should appreciate being faced with obstacles. It all makes for an interesting heat in which William's Wishes can prevail.
