Wild Oats, Classic Rock and Lord Oscar are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote is given to Wild Oats. The selection won well last time out when beating Elegant Eskimo and although he has a penalty for that win he has conditions to suit and is taken to defy the handicapper. Classic Rock rates the main danger on his latest second behind Jodante. That form has since been franked but he has had plenty of chances and he is hard to win with. Lord Oscar has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price now that he has his fast ground. Of the remainder, Good Judgement has the ability to go close but does not always ordain to use it and with this in mind for the winner we return to Wild Oats.
