Verdict

Wins at Market Rasen and over C&D earlier in the summer prompted Richard Newland to pitch Schindler's Gold in against seasoned handicappers at Market Rasen and Galway. He was pulled up on both occasions but should appreciate the return to novice company and can't be ignored today. Vertige Dore is a full brother to a winning chaser in France and it will be interesting to see how he fares over the larger obstacles for the first time while Mad Moose would have learned plenty from his chasing bow, as would Tout Regulier. But preference is for VICO, who was very fluent when accounting for a couple of potentially decent novices at Newton Abbot and can improve again to land this.
