While Loriko d'Airy has shown ability, this looks to be little more than a match between Kilindini and Meneur De Jeu, with preference for the last mentioned. The selection opened his account in a similar contest at Newton Abbot in June and, while twice defeated since then, Martin Pipe's gelding should be more than capable of giving weight and a beating to his rivals. Like Meneur De Jeu, Aspra was formerly trained in France but her form does not match that of the selection, while Pumpkin Pickle has shown only a modicum of ability. Of more interest may be Loriko d'Airy although he is strictly held by the selection on running at Newton Abbot. Emma Lavelle's Kilindini has disappointed since scoring at Plumpton in May and has yet to prove that he really stays this trip and a safer bet looks to be Meneur De Jeu, who need only reproduce his best to win.
