Another modest affair sees Air Guitar, Bogside Dancer and Giust In Tempo short listed, with the vote going to Air Guitar. Air Guitar's rating of 107 is a little on the high side for what he has achieved, but he still fares well against most of his opponents in terms of form and rating so really ought to go well today. The potential fly in the ointment, so watch the betting carefully, is the Tony Martin-trained Irish raider, Bogside Dancer, whose Flat form from last autumn would make him a big player. Given that their finest moments have come over course and distance, Giust In Tempo and Pedler's Profiles are afforded respect, even though they have a few pounds to find on Air Guitar and Whaleef based on ratings, and the latter would certainly hold claims based on his 2004 hurdling form and, indeed, more-recent chasing efforts. Ververka showed improved form to finish second in a claimer here last time and could go well. Of the others, Luby showed promise in a 2004 Cork bumper, but that was back in 2004, Needle Prick is from a good family and has shown bumper promise in a light career, Weet Watchers' March claiming run affords him some thought. Overall, though, we will side with Air Guitar, although the advice is to watch the betting carefully and react accordingly.
