Verdict

Lord Bryan goes for the four-timer and back-to-back victories here but is up another 8lb, though appears to hold Coral on the form book. Doncesar De Pretot is going chasing late in life but doesn’t have many miles on the clock. De Barley Basket has returned from an absence with wins here and at Uttoxeter but SHENTRI was a very easy winner at Uttoxeter in May when last seen over fences. A 4lb rise is not excessive and he was keeping on over hurdles here last month. D’Jango was struggling over the larger obstacles at the turn of the year.
