      Verdict

      BEYOND THE CLOUDS gained an impressive victory at Musselburgh in January but couldn't quite overcome a penalty when odds-on for a return visit a month later. He has a long absence to overcome and concedes 7lb to Mac Tottie but has the potential to be better than these and looks the one to be on. Texan Nomad didn't make much of a mark on his debut at Uttoxeter in July but should still prove best of the remainder.
