In depth

Verdict

Tikanite rates the best of those to have raced, having posted a couple of respectable midfield finishes and that experience should prove useful with Aidan Coleman an eyecatching booking for Shaun Lycett. The market should help to sort out the newcomers, all of whom represent connections capable of readying one, with The Groovy Hoovy and Mcnamaras Band the preferred options on paper. The vote goes to ARCTIC SWORD though from a yard with a more than respectable strike rate in bumpers and on whom his rider claims a useful allowance. Pulled up on his only start in the pointing arena recently, he raced prominently for a long way and this should prove a more suitable test at this stage of his development. Stable contenders are frequently well backed when fancied so hopefully he'll be quite strong in the market.
