A relatively competitive seller in which Rapscallion may be the safest option given his relative consistency. The selection has formed a good partnership with McCoy and although it was disappointing that he failed to win at Newton Abbot last time that is part and parcel of this grade and he may be able to make amends here. Bond Cruz showed improved form on his penultimate start and was 22lbs well in for his latest outing as a result and he duly landed the odds. He has to be on the short-list given his current form. Arisea has claims dropping in grade, Rawaabet and Zamboozle are possible contenders for place prize money whilst Mendip Dane chased home Dancewiththedevil on his racecourse bow and could have a say in the outcome. Several to consider then but Rapscallion looks sure to be there or thereabouts and gets the vote.
