Verdict

OLAY OLAY is the pick with Marrel and Dan Ryan the most likely dangers. Jonjo O'Neill's inmate has been a tad disappointing but he handles fast ground and with the handicapper loosening his grip, he can add to what has been a surprisingly moderate win tally. Marrel went close at Ffos Las last time out and on that evidence, he is unlikely to be available at such generous odds on this occasion. Dan Ryan is likely to be heavily punished for obliging by 20 lengths in a Newton Abbot handicap. David Pipe returns to the well before the assessor has his attempt to take retrospective action. Oso Magic is more than capable of landing a race of this nature especially with Sue Smith's yard among the winners. Mandingo Chief appreciates fast ground and if his jumping stands up to examination, he could take a hand. Dizzy Future landed a hat-trick during April but his jumping was not fluent over hurdles at Stratford and it is to be hoped that he was having merely a bad day at the office. Mr Fluffy won at Uttoxeter on good-to-soft going. The veteran was not wearing his usual cheekpieces and they have been left off again this afternoon. A wide open affair that can go the way of the well weighted, Olay Olay.
