In depth

Verdict

European horses have won the last five renewals and Ryan Moore has ridden the last two winners including Hillstar for Sir Michael Stoute last year. They team up again with Cannock Chase, who returned to winning ways at Newmarket last time but SECOND STEP makes more appeal. A Group 1 winner in Germany, the latter has the beating of Sheikhzayedroad on collateral form and Luca Cumani won this with Infamy way back in 1988. Interpol won a Grade 1 here last month beating Habibi, Triple Threat and Danish Dynaformer while Reporting A Star landed a Grade 2 at the track in August.
