After a promising debut here, SCHUBERT was sent to Newmarket to lose his maiden tag but found Carntop too strong. The winner looks a very nice prospect so Aidan O'Brien's colt should recoup losses. Tribal Beat and Mizaah both finished in front of the selection on this track and though they were more experienced it wouldn't be a great shock if either were to repeat the process, especially the former. Bottleofsmoke made a very promising start over the minimum trip at the Curragh when staying on nicely.
