This looks a very good opportunity for Denver to lose his maiden tag, with Little Eye and Oboe given as the main dangers. Brian Meehan¿s ex-Irish colt ran a respectable second on his British debut when chasing home Kingsmaite at Southwell just over a week ago. He is certain to come on for that outing and looks the one to beat. Little Eye deserves to win a race of this nature having finished a close second on two recent outings behind Anuvusteel and Fadeela. He makes a quick reappearance after running third to St Savarin at Lingfield yesterday and if none the worse for that excursion should go close. Henry Candy and Roger Charlton are both represented here. Anna Panna and Oboe respectively, they are both by Piccolo so should have plenty of speed but preference is for Oboe, who on the dam's side is related to numerous two-year-old winners. However both may be in need of the experience so Denver is the one we turn to.
