Verdict

Fragrant Belle made a winning start at Lingfield but failed under a penalty back at the same track last time. Sea Sculpture scored by a length over track and trip on his reappearance while Cristal Breeze won over 7f at Redcar but did it easily enough beating Puzzle by over four lengths. Both are penalised today and collateral form with Puzzle gives UNIVERSAL EFFECT every chance on today’s terms having shown a big improvement when runner-up over a mile at Redcar recently. David Lanigan’s filly may prove good enough with Reine Magnifique preferred to Social Calendar of the newcomers.
