Verdict

Pocket Warrior carries a double penalty having followed success at Brighton with a victory at Bath. He should figure again while Always Amazing, who hasn’t won since making a winning debut in 2017, went close at Chelmsford last week when finishing ahead of Tiger Lyon. Carlovian scored over track and trip in October and should be sharper for a recent comeback while Prominna has been thereabouts on the Polytrack recently and finished in front of AWSAAF last time. But the latter has subsequently posted a better effort in a higher grade sprint at Windsor and, having tumbled no less than 20lb down the weights since joining Michael Wigham in September, it could be his turn today with a tongue-tie added.
