In depth

Verdict

Modernism is still improving judged on his latest win at this track when beating Legendary. He's been upped another 4lb for that success but The Lock Master has slipped back down to a winning mark, although he seems to save his best for Southwell these days. Like A Diamond won a maiden race in good style here three weeks ago but will find this tougher and preference is for WELL PAINTED. He's gone close in Class 3 handicaps at Lingfield the last twice and looks to have every chance in this lesser grade.
