        Verdict

        Indian's Landing may be the best of a modest bunch assembled for this extended nine furlong contest, with Wodhill Gold and Tuscan Treaty respected as the best of the rest on the pick of their recent efforts. It may also pay dividends to keep a close eye on Mister Clinton now that his yard have been back amongst the winners and he can go well for each-way backers. Tuscan Treaty got going a little too late when he finished a good second here last month. More forceful tactics from Adam Kirby in the saddle will bring him right into the argument and a bold bid cannot be ruled out. Wodhill Gold ran one of his better races at Southwell earlier in the month and has claims if running up to that level. However, he may be better suited to the surface at Southwell and now has a little to prove. By way of contrast, Indian's Landing already has a couple of good course efforts to his name since he arrived on these shores from Ireland earlier in the year. Joe Fanning is an eye-catching booking for the ride aboard the selection and it will come as no surprise to the partnership storm home with a late rattle.
